❝ Yohyun was different... "Special,” his dad would always say to him. Growing up, the boy was homeschool, his dad taking the teacher role early on in his life. He would ask why he couldn't go to a school with the other children even if it was far, but his father would say it just safer for him. And besides, he gets to help with farm work and enjoy the tranquility of the rural area they live in.He was fine with that as long as he had his frequent library visits. He had books checked out—and brought when he's lucky—of many things, but his favorite ones were mythologies… the many studies and stories of them were always interesting to him. He would mostly check them out over anything else. Sometimes he would talk the things he learned from the books to his father, which he would sometimes notice that he would get slightly nervous or tense when he speak it. His father would change the subject usually, talking about something else that would deviate his attention. It worked. But he noted it, always wondering why?As he grew older, his father would become more over protective of him. Keeping him indoors more, less visits to the cities, and less contact with talking to others. Though, his father would allow them to stargaze often outside their home, watching the moon & its stars. Yohyun would feel a pull towards the moon, a strange power thrumming in his veins when he lays upon it luminous light. His dad would tell stories of his mother, always speaking wonderful things of her despite her leaving them on their own. He sometimes would even compare the growing similarities they had, like her curiosity, knowledge, and sometimes stubbornness. Yohyun would listen, despite his slight bitterness he felt for her not being there with them. But his father was always the happiest when he mentioned her and he rather that, then seeing him sad.One day, on his eighth birthday, Yohyun adventures a bit far from outside his home, awaiting the arrival of his grandfather—the only other person that was invited—that was coming to his party. He would meet a old lady with a dog, and bring her back to his house after saying she in great need of help. That was a wrong choice as she later revealed her true identity. The dog too, being a chimera. A thing he remembers reading about in his mythology books. The beast wreak havoc among the place, breathing fire all around and destroying ever little thing in it view. His father tries his best at protecting him, not letting the hybrid beast touch him, which would fall him into being greatly injured and poison. He thought he would lose his life that day— until a woman, with long raven colored hair, silvery eyes, came to their rescue. Turning the beast and lady into a fine yellow dust. Yohyun would pass out from the lack of oxygen & smoke he inhaled eariler, just barely hearing the conversation the two had. Later, he would awakened again as his grandfather holds him, eyes watering, & a letter in hand.The letter was from his mother, speaking of a strange camp, a camp for people like him. Of a demi-god. And that it awaits him after the passing of his mortal father… That is when he finally learns the meaning behind his father's words that day as he cries into his Grandpa's arms.

With nothing but a divine dagger with a crescent moon drilled into the handle and a bracelet made with black tormalice & selenite, (that was also along with the letter) he went to the camp. There, he was assigned to an empty cabin, a cabin for the children of Selene, his mother's name. He would try to make the empty space more homey, more clean and lived in as he soon learned the truth of himself and his new life…

▍ ❝   I.
Once of age, he would go back into the mortal world. Wanting to achieve his own personal goals and dreams. He was trained throughout his time there on many things, and became more knowledgeable about demigods, on being a half blood. He may of not seen his mother at all—though lots of kids at the camp never really saw their god or goddess parent much—only having her gifts from his eighth birthday that day, which he keep close to him for their protection properties. He would of course still visit quite often to the camp, as a aide to many things, not wanting to truly let go of the place that once home him after his father passing. Sure, it wasn’t perfect and he believes it still needs lots of fixing in certain areas— but as long it a safe haven for demigods, he wouldn't mind protecting it.Kang Yohyun, known as YUAN, is an upcoming rising idol & model that occasionally takes on other projects when given the chance. With his fans comparing him to that of the luminous divine moon—or sometimes even cats—hence the popular nickname appointed by his fanbase being moon idol. As he showcases otherworldly striking vocals each performance, he aims to bring a sparkling silvery light to the world just like the moon...
